David Lucca has been in the music business for more than 45 years and has traveled all over the world with many artists:
Like, Tito Puente, Ray Barreto, Dave Valentin, Hilton Ruiz and many others. David has been nominated for 2 Latin Grammy Awards and has shared the stage with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuel, Jose Alberto El Canario, Andy Montanez, and Ismael Miranda.
Music runs in the Lucca family; David Lucca is the cousin of Papo Lucca, member of the famed Puerto Rican Salsa band, La Sonora Poncena. David Lucca y Los Clasicos specialize in the 70s Big Band Salsa Style for the Salsa Dancers.

"Born to play"
Starting out, the idea of living the road band life was the last thing on our minds. After we did all the local gigs, we realized the only way for us to evolve as a band was to hit the road. Over the next five years, we logged thousands of gigs — with the occasional festival appearance — in cities across the country. Our time on the road proved crucial in shaping our sound.
We also love Baseball season with the Miami Marlin's!
Looking to the Future
We’re packing up the gear for an extended U.S. tour in support of our new album. Our set list will prominently feature the new stuff but also dive into favorites from our previous releases. Check out our tour page for when we’ll be playing near you.
